The Ficomontanino winery is located in Chiusi, south of the province of Siena on the border with Lazio and Umbria. If you try to direct your gaze in all directions from the highest point of the company, the three regions are clearly distinguished by the different colors of the vegetation, the blanket of air and the sunlight that combine.
100% Sangiovese, farmed organically and biodynamically. 21-year-old vines from the Melogranino vineyard on sand, silt and clay. Spontaneous fermentation, skin maceration in cement for 2 days, soft pressing. 24 months in cement. Total added sulphites 40 mg/l. Unfiltered, unfined. 2,500 bottles.
